Garnacha Tintorera (100%) · 2019 · 13% abv

Bright and lifted at first sip, with tart cherry and pomegranate giving way to savoury herbs and a whisper of smoke. A wine of tension and intrigue: lithe in body, long in finish, with a subtle earthy undercurrent.
Production

Fermented and aged 8 months in concrete eggs for purity and texture, then 6 months in small French oak casks. Minimal intervention preserves the grape’s true voice.

Vinyard

Garnacha Tintorera from Venta La Vega’s best sites, organically managed at the base of El Mugrón. The altitude and limestone-rich soils yield naturally low yields and a fruit profile both vivid and restrained.

Pairing

Pairs beautifully with grilled vegetables, Iberian pork ribs, or rosemary-marinated lamb chops. A clever partner to smoky BBQ flavours, but equally at ease with earthy mushroom dishes.
